Do we have any Affinity photo users here?

I use lightroom for pretty much all my editing, its easy to catalogue my images and I've used the same workflow for years, but it has a few limitations that are not necessarily holding me back but I want to explore the more advanced editing options available in Affinity or similar.

I would love to hear of your experience with this software, especially if you came from adobe products, I don't want to go back to Photoshop, I really don't get on with the idea of subscription and would to prefer to pay up front.

You win or you learn, I seem to be doing a lot of learning....

Yes, I use it as an external editor from LR.
I used to run PS (CS5) for this purpose, but stopped as it became impossible to purchase a perpetual license.

I like affinity a lot, and it works perfectly for what I do.

Thanks, that's good to hear, I'll download a trial version and see how I get on.

How did you like it? I'm considering this. Running LR5. I'm not sure if classic CC will run on my 8gm ram computer. I just need something for focus stacking and once in a great while composite.
