Spent yesterday at Danmarks Flymuseum. What a great place! It's not the easiest place to shoot because the planes are parked really really close and the light is not that easy either.

All shots with a77ii and Samyang 14mm, f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC.

#1 Cockpit view. DC-7 "Rolf Viking"

#2 F-100 Super Sabre

#3 F-104 Starfighter

#4 Catalina.
There's no such thing as too many lenses.

Nice shots Tue. I know it is not easy to capture them well in these circumstances, but you managed that pretty well. 14mm wide certainly helps.

Maros,
Some brilliant images you've captured and presented here. Too many excellent ones to really single any out, although I'm particularly taken by the ones with the condensed vapour trailing off the wings, and those with the decoy heat flares, or both.
What camera/lens combination did you use?

The camera is the A77II and lens was this time only the Minolta 400mm f4,5G. The issue with the 400G or at least with my copy is that the autofocus is by far not accurate and if you miss the right spot by just a little bit, the focus is missed. So the rate of good vs bad images is not so good.

Unfortunately, there is little love with regards to tele lenses for the A-mount. Sony only offers the 500mm G which is priced completely out of my league and the offering of Sigma or Tamron does not offer any reasonable fixed focal tele lenses.
