I presume these are mainly cargo flights nowadays, in fact the cabin of that A330 (OH-LTT) has been converted for cargo use by removing almost all seats. And still one year ago, this afternoon wave from Asia was at least twice as big. And then the intra-European routes have seen more drastic reduction, if there earlier was often at least two daily rotations on most routes, now it is nice if there is even one return flight a day and at least in case of Finnair, the planes on European routes have been changed to smaller ones.

Yep, although somehow I think I would have preferred to have few nice clouds.

Today afternoon I heard that airplanes heading towards Helsinki Airport are flying past my home, so I couldn't resist the temptation to photograph planes from my window despite somewhat grey skies and light snowing...

1. OH-LKF (Finnair/NoRRA Embraer E190LR) on AY1764 from Rome

2. OH-ATG (Finnair/NoRRA ATR-72-500) on AY438 from Oulu

3. OH-ATM (Finnair/NoRRA ATR-72-500) on AY314 from Vaasa

4. The largest plane that happened to fly past: OH-LZT (Finnair A321-231) on AY574 from Kittilä

5. And the only foreign airliner I saw today: EW-512PO (Belavia Embraer E175LR) on B2857 from Minsk

That F-86E Sabre was in the skies over Korea from December 1951 until August 1953. But that MIG 15 "Fagot" was build in Poland under licence and never went to Korea (despite its Korean colours).

The Pima museum has an impressive collection of (mainly) post-war planes I must say. They even have an Fokker C-31a Troopship

Here is a Fokker build (assembled) Gloster Meteor at the National Military Museum, Soesterberg:

Wow addy! thats impressive. Usually I can tell the difference between a Mig and a Sabre but where they flew and the years is way beyond me. I do know that Mig and Sabre air battles over Korea are iconic of the Korean War. I've seen enough movies

Pima Air & Space Museum, your right, is a very impressive museum, possibly the finest NGO military-plus, aircraft museum in America. I made a special trip to Tucson to visit in 2019. Here is my 155 photo album of it, with only 1 of 4 existing B36 "Peacemaker" nuclear bombers and a very rare B58 "Hustler". Included is my "Boneyard" bus tour

That is an iconic also, Meteor. Very nice, I'm a sucker for nose shots, planes and trains
