How about extension tubes? I can't seem to find any resources on Dyxum, maybe looking at the wrong places?

The card speeds info was dropped some while ago - very difficult to get reliable info.

There have been a couple of threads on Individual cards though; see here and here.

...You might also be interested in the Rob Galbraith CF card comparisons for the a900 - these give a reasonable idea of what works fastest on a Sony body.

With fear of sounding stupid I need some help. I have a Sony a200. I need to set it up for strobe lighting in a studio. I have a 3 strobe light kit picked out but I need an inexpensive way to get my camera to fire the strobes off as I can't afford a pocket wizard. I also need a hot shoe adapter.

I do not on any flash unit other than the pop up one on the camera. Can someone tell me exactly what I need in transmitter/receiver?

Does the 200 have a pc port? If so then you should be gold. What brand/model strobes do you have? If they have flash trigger cells then just run the cable to the strobe closest to the camera and trigger the others from it's flash. If however the a200 has no PC port then get yourself a hotshot adapter that gas one ... Try flash zebra website.

The camera doesn't have a pc port
I am looking at purchasing this set of strobes.

I have looked at the hot shoe adapters at flash zebra. There are 3 different ones for Sony cameras. One has a pc port. I guess I would need a cable too? What do I hook the cable to?

Since Sony cameras now have video, is anything going to be added for microphones?

Not sure if this is then area to post this but has anyone got any experience with portable hides or screens. I have been shooting at my local private nature reserve for over a year now, I find photographing deer very difficult as soon as they see me they are off. I wear suitable clothing and don't stand out like a sore thumb my camera and lens have a camouflage cover.

not shure about your local nature reserve , but around here the best place for shooting deer ( with a camera , not a gun ! ) is Dunham Massey deer park,i found if your wearing clothing that blends in with the background then the deer a very wary of you( a green/kaki blob/shrub moving towards them ).bright clothing that stands out, their use to , and you can get very close.same at Tatton park.
just a thought.
