My current account is safe but my original account was breached 5 times with one of them being to Adobe, that occured in 2013 and I had already removed that account a few years ago and my debit card number is also different now. There's a link in this article to check if you've been compromised.

I use a password manager nowadays and I'd strongly recommend that everyone use one.

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like I'm clean so far.

Thanks. 8 breached sites..disqus, dropbox, sweclockers..oldest email address I still use. Time to reset a few passwords then. (I use a password manager..doesn't matter if the login becomes known, only if using a password manager makes you reset your password at intervals)

I've looked into password managers and they don't seem much more secure than any other data storage sites connected to the web and they to can be breached, google "password manager vulnerability" for more info. For a while now I haven't been using a pass word but use a pass sentence unique to each site but all similar and easy to remember.

After the query had run I scrolled down further on the page and it listed breaches and associated sites, if appropriate.

Stiuskr: Ah, I wasn't aware of managers spawning several processes that talk to each other in unencrypted ways..saw a patch note for KeePass adressing this (encrypting the messages); haven't seen a reference to how my manager (Enpass) handles it. Enpass is very slick and available on every OS I've run so far, right now Android and Solus (linux), in the past Win10 and Windows 10 for Phone.

Maybe I could get in touch with those guys as I can't even remember my own email password and my ISP is making it near impossible to reset it as they nowadays have no email linked to my account. Been without access since November!
