There are three desirable Carl Zeiss Jena lenses. The Biotar 1.5/75 I managed to acquire some years ago (as a post war produced slim 1.5/7.5 cm pre-war design), the often yellow tinted radioactive coated Pancolar 1.4/55 that is beyond my lens budget and the Biotar 1.4/50. I have wanted one since I knew of its existence. I have seen many on eBay in various states of abuse and repair that didn't appeal to me. And then there was a foreign auction with domestic shipping with nobody bidding. So I took a shot and ended up organising transport through the grapevine. And finally 12 kg of film camera arrived. Pentaflex AK16 camera, two motors, film cassettes, sunshade and 5 lens kit: Carl Zeiss Jena 1Q Biotar 1.4/50, 1Q Biotar 1.4/25, 1Q Flektagon 2.8/12.5, 1Q Triotar 4/135, Pentacon Pentovar 16 2.8/15-60mm. Clean enough, clear, aperture and focus smooth. Happy days! The Biotar 1.4/50 and Triotar 4/135 are full frame, the 1.4/25 can be used on APSC, the other two will make 'planets' on APSC. We'll see. Adapter is on order (M52 helicoid from China but as I prefer not to improvise with tape I also ordered a real one).

Pentaflex AK 16 film camera, 2 Biotars and a Triotar

Camera Model: ILCE-7 in APSC mode (doing too many things at the same time)
Lens: Meyer-Optik Görlitz Primoplan 1:1.9/75 V (Exakta, 1955)
Aperture: f/1.9
Exposure Time: 0.167 sec (1/6)
ISO: 100

First round with the A7Rii today, combined with the Kinon Superior F-5cm that I had used only once on A99ii (with limited focus options).
