I had been a user of Lightroom since it was RawShooter and cracked it when Adobe foisted the subscription model upon users. There was very little value with that at the time, it was a reasonably mature product and they were tinkering about the edges of it rather than offering substantial improvements.
Anyway I moved to ON1 and have been a happy camper ever since. Anyone else using ON1 here? |

I've been using it since the 2019 version. I came from Aperture.
I'm happy with it so far. There's room for improvement but they seem like a progressive group always trying to improve things. If you're coming from Lightroom the learning curve shouldn't be too much. |

I just got the latest version yesterday and love it. I've only had a couple of hours to play with it but the noise control is great, I thought the deep prime noise reduction in DxO Photolab was good but I think this is better. Certainly more opportunities to be more creative which I generally am not so will post some shots later this week hopefully. The one click sky replacement is also pretty impressive. |

I recently bought ON1 NoNoise AI. It's really good. I don't need another full RAW converter, though.

Just purchased On1 PhotoRaw 2022. Wow what an improvement over 2021!
It seems a little slower with loading folders of photos with their new browse feature but the other new features make it well worth the short wait. Their customer service was great when I told them I was not happy having to run my raw photos through NoNoise (stand alone version) first then send a DNG to PhotoRaw to do my edits. They refunded my purchase of NoNoise and included a 25% discount towards upgrading to 2022. The 2022 PhotoRaw has NoNoise included within it and skips the extra step of having to convert to DNG then send to PhotoRaw. The new sky feature works great along with Portrait AI and the many other features it offers. I totally recommend On1 PhotoRaw 2022. |

The 2022 version compelled me to part with money with some fairly solid improvements. Getting max performance required setting the video card up right.
Now it flies. https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5188/~/turning-on-gpu-acceleration-in-creator-apps |
