But fine for static pictures and some artsy work!

Rain in Montreal, but the Orange Army shoot be happy with the results! Growing up in Germany I can vaguely remember seeing a DAF or two. But they are not something I'm likely to see here in Utah. But I have seen a Traby! Trabant at Ruby's Inn, Utah

Mid-Century Chevrolet (1949/50) in Juneau Alsaska May 2023

For Comparison, My Father's Chevy, with a little AudioDoc, right and siblings -- all Vintage models! The License Plate says 1951, so the automobile's DOM had to be before that year -- same goes for the kids.

Sorry, not taken with a Sony or Minolta camera. I think this would have been taken with a Kodak Box Camera using 616 film. That camera would later be my first "hand-me-down" camera!

One difference I notice is the hood ornament on Dad's car (airplane)

I told you 1/45s is fine, even for these extreme speeds!

I noticed there are just two DAF 750's in working order, a real classic!

That's a Daf33, the bonnet and hood are higher, our 750 has the rounded bonnet, roof and boot.

You're right. However....
It still is bigger then a tiny house.
It is called "Defender" but it is not really a true Land Rover Defender

Like it, but the car looks distorted. Is this the left square of the picture? What lens did you use - there is no EXIF

Thank you Addy. I’m pleased to see that you are a fan of the “green oval” too. Landrovers are in my blood. I was born in April 1948 and the very first Landrover was seen by the public for the first time at the Amsterdam Motor Show in... April 1948. During my 27 years in the Royal Corps of Transport I have driven, travelled in, slept in, crashed in and been shot at in many and varied Landrovers. And I have owned quite a few.

When I first joined Dyxum and had to choose an ID I couldn't decide between "bonneville" and "defender", as I own both. I didn't go with defender in case folk called on me to do heroic stuff

It's in the family too. This is my son taking me for a spin through a lake in his Defender

and I was certain the tiny house car was a "new" defender because....
I have one too
