I would also like to congratulate your wife, Brian. Getting an OBE is not for everyone!

Thank you Alan, Jet and addy. It seems personal cameras are not allowed in the palace for the investiture. The entire event has strategically positioned video and still cameras with everything posted online a day or so later. Award recipients get a code to access and can buy personal copies, for LOTS of pounds. But I hope to be able to use my a7ii outside in the grounds though.

Anyway, back to the Foolishness..... come on everyone. We must have at least one more to make 19 for 2019.

OK Brian, I'll take the plunge! I won't commit to pic-a-day since it'll be a busy month and I have photo projects on 20th (hourly photo day) and 28th (Worldwide pinhole photography day) and I'm also doing the film challenge but will do 7 per week.

A77 with Sony 35/1.8, may also use A99 with Tamron 90/2.8 if second prime required.

The theme will be decay.

Can I ask for some guidance? I do not anticipate being able to shoot a pic-a-day so I've nominated 7-pics-a-week.

My question is which thread I should post my pics? Perhaps 1 in each day X thread, or perhaps 7 at the end of week.

Some nice images have been taken already I see, well done all!
C & C always welcome

Hi James.
I'm in the same position you are.
There is a thread for every day. You take your pictures on the day that fits you and place one of them on the next day-thread. So, there is only one shot of you per day-thread.
The idea is, of course, to spread shooting over the month and not take all shots on April 1st.
Some people use restrictions like: 'I never post shots older than 4 days'[/]. But that's all up to you.'

regards
domien

What was your plan and what should I do.
Than all of the sudden I got it... you want to be in your twenties again so made you 21.

Exactly, post in a daily thread on or after the day you took the shot, and never more than one picture in any daily thread.
Mind the bandwidth of others, don't link pictures larger then 1024 wide or 960 pix high, see here

Jet, can I still join?

I'm in with the Sony FE 100-400/4.5-5.6 GM @ both ends, starting with the long end.
