How sweet of you to ask.
I am in doubt to join..
I have a zillion reasons to excuse myself.. but in the end..
they are just excuses.

My biggest excuse at the moment is my son. He was operated on his knee last week but things went a bit wrong with after-bleeding's and such. I might be to tired with nursing, waitress-ing and taxi-ing him as is the case right now.
Or... I might join just to get away from him before I kill him
He is a 24y old - 2m tall.big.piece of moaning, growling and puffing on the sofa.
It will be a last minute decision.

Sorry about your sons bad op, I hope he recovers quickly! It could be good therapy for you and I always like to see your photos, I don't think that given your circumstances we'll hold you to a pic a day though!
You win or you learn, I seem to be doing a lot of learning....

He sounds like a real man - moaning, growling and puffing. You know, we feel more pain then women
What about three a week? Wouldn't that be possible with your patient? And use him as your subject - he can't run away, now!

Anyway, I probably do not have time until at least 5 April to take photos - hmmm, if I do at least 3/week that might be doable then, I guess. Gonna give it a try. Do not know the lenses yet.

I'm going to take out my best equipment, and use it properly because it is a recipe for happiness! 7 pics a week and lens TBD just at the moment.

<< Hangs head low in shame! >> I've had a terrible start to 2019 photo-wise, and the worst part is I have no real excuse. I had planned to throw myself into the film challenge but that was a total failure. But then I saw this thread

I "always" do April Foolishness and it is just what I need to get me back in the saddle. And it will be a challenge as April holds lots in store. On the 4th my wife and I are off to see the Queen at Buckingham Palace as my wife was awarded an OBE in the New Years Honours. And later in the month we have a golfing holiday in Turkey. At least I shouldn't have any excuses for material this year

Dyxum was brilliant to me last year with my self inflicted foolishness of trying to include 70 in every shot as my birthday was (as it is this year!) on the 2nd.

So, sign me up Jet. Sony a7ii with my current favourite lens: Loxia 50 f2 and occasionally Canon FD 35 f2.8 Tilt Shift. 5 a week with a bit of leeway in posting and commenting whenever I can.

Thank you.

Brian

I値l sign up and play. I知 really trying to get better at the long glass as that痴 all I致e been shooting as of late. I値l do the 100-400 fe with the 1.4 attached and shooting at its max focal length. I値l also do the Tokina 300 f2.8. I値l try for 5 per week. Some weeks might be more. Some less.

OK, it is time to decide about the lenses...

I'll commit to 3/week, using Minolta M-Rokkor 40mm F2 and Minolta M-Rokkor 90mm F4. I'll try to make it pic-a-day or at least 7/week, but looking at my calendar I doubt I'll manage...

Congratulations to your wife, Brian. And if you manage a shot of HMQ for the challenge then I'll congratulate you also!
