Impressive batch of commenting, Karlen. Our daughter is staying with us over the Easter period so I've not had much spare time. I prefer my industrial decay shots to the natural ones too, but I'm prioritising photos taken on the day and we've been going for country walks while she's been here.

Day 18 is a section of a metal hoist used for loading/unloading ships at the local port. I've more from this location which I may post later in the month.

Day 19 is peculiar, the postal service sell redundant boxes to salvage merchants who in turn retail them to the public, who often paint them in a different colour to deter passers by from thinking they're collection boxes. The cream coat is peeling off to reveal its otiginal Royal Mail red. Perhaps the house changed ownership and the new owners didn't appreciate it.

Day 20 wagons have not moved for many years though I'm sure they could be brought back into use.

Day 11
Snegren - Nice colours, nice swirl.
pegelli - Back to back - were they rivals?
addy landzaat - Good shot turned into a great one on Instagram.
darosa - Nice example of generational differences - take in the sun or get on the phone.
Dopol - A child's grave?
onsplekkie - I like it, mostly - I think I'd prefer less of the bridge on the left.
gregja - Nice - as so often I will have take your word for what it is!
C_N_RED_AGAIN - Not your everyday sort of shot - nice timing.
alanfrombangor - Interesting addition to the decay sequence, not sure that colour wouldn't be better if the lighting was good (a grey day I suspect).
MiPr - Nice flower, nicely shot.
Fred_S - Relly nice shot of an everyday object.
bigsi - Great shot - but the title got me to wondering how many dogs were named Marley before the book/film?
clk230 - I like this one, the numbering on the silos, 31, 32, 33 gives a sense of the size of the facility while concentrating on just a section of it.

Day 12
Dopol - Looks like a CWGC stone? Nice shot.
Snegren - The swirl works reall well on this one, I like it a lot.
alanfrombangor - Nice sign, re-used to cover a hole it seems.
gregja - Strange shot - still can't work out how you shot it, so much apparent movement around the still bits. I like it.
pegelli - I love this one, what a great curve away.
addy landzaat - Nice setting for a town.
ktrucke - Mystery to me too, never seen anything like it!
MiPr - Nicely shot.
Fred_S - A man with more than one trioplan! Nice shot.
Robbie - Not quite the last, but what strikes me as odd is the total lack of protection from the elements - I can't imaging anyone having much of a converstaion on this on a cold wet winter's evening.
bigsi - My wife has just left the room.
C_N_RED_AGAIN - One of the many wonders of nature is the way that crows stand up to much bigger raptors - how they don't end up as lunch is a perpetual wonder.
onsplekkie - Another lovely B&W shot.
clk230 - Another day, another silo - or the same one? Nice abstract composition.

Thanks, Karen

(day 11) dopol - Simple but nice.
I also love the outtake "Quarreling while going home". My favorite outtake so far.

Thanks
Dopol - I prefer your "more stairs" outtake. I'm a fan of architectural abstracts.

I do agree I think. But I had to choose for Spring
Dopol - I prefer your outtake.

Agree again, with no excuses this time
Dopol - I like how you captured both edges of the window. It helps give structure to this unofficial-looking cafe

I had to straighten the shot, but I cheated a bit. I had to crop the shot to get both sides in.
Dopol - I know the guidelines don't allow it, but I'd like this shot even more if the adults were trimmed out.
So true. I should have stepped closer I think.

Thanks Phil.
Dopol - A child's grave?
It sure is.
Dopol - Looks like a CWGC stone? Nice shot
the shot was taken on a graveyard close by. They do have a CWGC section there. But it's not on this shot. I liked the minimalistic compo

Fred_S - Very pretty bubbles. I like the grass in the foreground.

I had time tonight so here's a big, long comment post.
Day 19
Fred_S - The bokeh makes what could be a basic subject much more intersting.

Day 20
Fred_S - A lovely flower.

Day 21
Fred_S - The bokeh almost ooks like paintbrush strokes on the rear tulip. Kind of neat.

Day 22
Fred_S - Another nice flower shot. It almost looks like artificial light is shining on it. Is that the sun?

You've been busy Karlen, your extensive commenting is much appreciated !
I noticed you still seem to have a preference for outtakes, fortunately I didn't post any so far

I love this painting look bokeh of the Trioplan, but appreciate it's not to everybody's taste.

On Day 22, I can confirm I am all natural . Indeed it is sunlight in the backyard, although enhanced a little in PP.

Thanks Phil!
Day 11 was a bit of a desperate shot indoors, glad you like it.
Day 12, indeed I am lucky to have more than one Trioplan, although that 5cm one on the picture is just for decoration. I have another working 2.9/50mm though

Let me finally do something in return on commenting.
I will just pick some from the thumbnail thread. That may be some I like, but also some I like less (we all deserve honest feedback to learn from isn't it?)

@ alanfrombangor:
I really appreciate your 'decay' theme. A very nice and good quality series. You nmanaged to get good diversity in it. Would have been easy to get all rusty items in there. There is nit much I don't like to be honest. Nit picking would bring me to Day 11, where I am not sure about the very bright skye in this case.

@ onsplekkie:
(A petty your links doesn't bring me to the Day page, but directly to your Flickr post). A high quality and diverse set though.
Day 2, 8, 12 and 16 are my favourites so far if I was forced to pick some.

@ robbie: Another good set.
Day 8 and 12 are the standouts for me, but I like the colourful Day 17 as well. Day 6 and 7 are the last appealing to me. In Day 6 there is too much going on and distracting around the mirror for my taste

@ Bonneville: A petty you had to step out. Hope things are okay for you. I like the use of selective colour in Day 6

@ snegren: What to say? I just love it all, I have to temper my GAS
Day 6 is great. For Day 7 I would have waited for the people to move myself.

@gregja: A good set with some signature shots from you. I love the windows in Day 8. Although I like abstracts and characterful boheh's, Day 12 is a bit too wild for me, lacking a bit of real subject.

@ bigsi: Probably my favourite set (although I miss a couple of thumbnail sets). Day 2 and 7 are very good.

@ Mipr: Good to see you active again. Day 5, 11 , 15 and 21 stand out for me, but as usual I like your BW portraits as well. On Day 14 the BW conversion is a bit off my taste, but the composition is very nice.

@ Dopol: Another divers set. #16 is the least appealing to me. And what's the frame in Day 13 shot? Was is shot through a window?
The light in Day 1 and 2 is beautiful, as is in my favourite Day 10.

@Phil Wood: (the square thumbnails don't make it easy for a quick scan). I like the kind of minimalsim in Day 2, the atmosphere in Day 8 and the texture in Day 16. Day 15 is spooky but creative!

@ pegelli: I love the bokeh shots Day 5 and 12. Day 14 is my least favoured one. Despite the story, there is too little of interest in it for me.

@ Jetsplace: I hope you can do some more after the promising start of Day 1 !

@ Ktrucke: Those are small thumbnails! I like your confession at Day 4, keep it like that!, but for me Day 6, 9 and 22 are the best so far. The dark scene in Day 6 is great! Day 18 looks a bit chaotic to me, I would have gone closer to of further from the window I guess.

@ clk230: Good diverse use of the 85mm and the good light in many cases! Day 3 is the winner for me.

@ C_N_RED_AGAIN: (Again links to Flickr, some of your pics are private and don't show via the link, day 18 for example). Some great bird shots here, but hey, the FE 100-400 isn't it? Great lens, well used by you! Hard to pick a favourite. Although a lovely shot, Day 4 seems almost misplaced when you look at it as a set in the thumbnails.

So far for now. I hope to see the thumbnails from the rest as well.

Day 13
gregja - Streetlight? Still trying to work it out!
Snegren - Bubbly swirl - nice.
MiPr - Yes, definitely a flower.
Fred_S - another nice kitchen shot - desperate or not they are good images.
Robbie - Okay shot, I'd prefer more separation from the background.
pegelli - I don't know why but I find the disparity of letterbox locations intriguing.
alanfrombangor - 11/5 might have been pricey predecimalisation, but wouldn't we love to have that price today!
addy landzaat - Nice bit of real life.
ktrucke - We really do have too much choice these days!
Dopol - Strange boxey effects in the image but you'v caught the ducks in flight very nicely.
C_N_RED_AGAIN - Lunchtime indeed - and it looks like you were in line for pudding.
bigsi - Great shot - for a moment the scale was really confusing and I thought tht was a building.
mikey2000 - Looks like a lovely spot.
onsplekkie - Doesn't do much for me, I feel the need for a sharper image - can't argue with the title though.
clk230 - Lovely crisp bow, perfect blue sky - just seems a tad dark.

Then you'll be happy to know the dye on day 22 is from dying Easter eggs. :)

Thanks also for the comments. I may take a do-over of the kite shop if I get a chance. I think I can improve it too.

Many thanks for the comments on my images, especially those offering constructive criticism which I really appreciate.

Comments on Day 16
Snegren - using the swirl to great effect. I especially like how the fence shadow nicely complements the swirl in this image.
alanfrombangor - I think you've chosen a good time of day for this shot. The shadows works well for the corrugated iron background as well as from the window frame. And of course the image is well within your decay theme.
gregja - I think the highlight of this shot is the beautiful out of focus background.
pegelli - There's a great spring feel to this one. Are they new shoots from the heavyily pruned tree?
darosa - Nice use of repetition with the ship helping break the pattern. Love the sky colour too.
onsplekkie - Terrific street image and processed well in B+W. A think there may also be a mystery woman too?
MiPr - I love the expression captured in this well executed portrait.
addy landzaat - I can almost hear the seagulls calling and smell the atmosphere - well captured.
mikey2000 - I fine looking rabbit but somewhat cold it seems? Good choice of depth of field and use of the flare - it works well
ktrucke - well spotted and good use of shallow depth of field to control an otherwise busy background
C_N_RED_AGAIN - nice catch (pun intended). The almost looks to large for the bird's throat.
Robbie - I too like industrial and this is a good one with some nice symmetry and textures.
Phil Wood - Even before reading the description I was thinking of the decay theme. Interesting combination of colours and textures.
Dopol - This composition works well with left/right separation of red/white leaves and flowers. The 85/1.8 is razor sharp too showing nice detail in the leaves upper left.
Fred_S - These bubbles are so abstract. I especially like the "cones" of bubbles formed along the bars.
C & C always welcome

The light on Day 1 and 2 is beautiful, as is in my favorite Day 10.

Thanks, Fred. I can agree on the Day 16 shot. It is one of the shots I always make in April, besides the Fritillary, that ended in the outtakes this year.
The shot of the ducks. I found it needed something extra, so I added a texture (which I often do, mostly unnoticed )
