If everybody can get their thumbnail thread in order before May 6 so that I can start an exhibition voting thread shortly after that.

I'm planning to allow anybody with more than 10 photo's to be eligible for the exhibition and given the relatively low number of participants I migh consider two photo's per participant in there.

In the meantime I'll try to complete my comments (outtakes and responses to my photo's) and enjoy the freedom to use other lenses again

Mind the bandwidth of others, don't link pictures larger then 1024 wide or 960 pix high, see here

Glad you like it! Industrial in build, but actually a university car park.

In this instance I chose sky over the sheep that were grazing in the field. The half demolished power station will soon be gone forever - demolition was delayed for a few years following the deaths of several workers when one of the buildings collapsed on them.

One of my favourites, they have lots of exhibits safely under cover but not cleaned up so they look authentically industrial.

Thanks for your consistent commenting, and sorry to hear of your theft. As I expected, my commenting was halted by having our daughter stay with us over Easter and then by other domestic committments.

Finished! 4 octaves! I'm really glad I managed to complete. I struggled a bit with this lens (Vivitar/Kiron 100/2.8 Macro) although it can deliver if only the photog makes no mistakes I liked bokeh very much.

Now time to de-dust some film cameras for the new DPC

p.s.
I shot more photos than those posted on Dyxum - I was posting on two different fora and each one got it's own set of photos Full set, if anyone is interested, can be looked at in the album at flickr.
I'm noise-blind. And noise-about-noise-deaf too ... |   BTW, Dyxum Weekly Exhibitions don't grow on trees ...

I didn't make it back to comment on the final days like I had hoped. Dealing with the theft has been time consuming.

I submitted my votes today. Enjoyed seeing everyone's photos.

Thanks so much to the coordinators. I really look forward to these challenges.
