Last wednesday we went to the Textile Museum in Tilburg (Netherlands)

A splendid combination of art exhibitions, explaining old skills, machines and techniques as well as modern R&D on new textiles and manufacturing techniques.

First a further explanation about the artwork of my main entry

A7ii + VM Nokton 50/1.2

And a fully automated, computer controlled loom producing a modern design drying cloth (I only saw the no photography sign looking at the photo on my computer )

A7Rii + Tamron FE 20/2.8 Di III VXD

More from the visit will show up in the "Museum" thread in due time.
You can see the April Foolishness 2023 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

The vast skies over the Petaluma hills reminds me of my trip to big sky country Montana. A99ii w/ 35G lens. One setting that I find very useful is the highlight metering which keeps the highs from blowing out.
