Diamantbuurt, Amsterdam. Designed by the architect J.C. van Epen in the 1920's. Note the yellow-green window frames that are typical for these houses.

Rather than posting these in the Casablanca, Morocco cities thread, I feel they are a better fit here in the Architecture thread.

The Hassan II Mosque was completed in 1993 and was designed by architect Michel Pinseau under the guidance of King Hassan II. A striking design and beautifully detailed, incorporating traditional design motifs, craftsmanship and materials.

The mosque is beautifull and very impressive. The Zaha Hadid building also but in a very different way.
