I'm on my way home from a quick university trip to Argentina. No time for real excursions, but the spring here brought out some interesting bugs and spiders on campus of Universidad Nacional de Cordoba. (Except #3 which is from a shady spot in the city zoo)

All these were shot with a65 + Sigma 70mm 2.8 macro. I'm not sure if I'll be able to figure out the species names of any of these, but I'll edit them in as and when I find some clues!

#1. Saw-edged stinkbug

#2. A tricolored assassin bug

#3. A fairly large lynx spider with lemonade-tinted makeup

#4. Hola Chicos!

#5: Ant tickles a unicorn treehopper

#6: Amorous leaf beetle tickles an indifferent neighbor

#7: My! What big teeth your manibles have

#8: Green sweat bee enjoys a sip of nectar regurgitation

#9: Not a great shot, but this is probably a Stizoides wasp = a kleptoparasite that raids underground larders of other ground wasps

#10: Even wasp antennae sometimes get the mumps

#11: Tiny Cerotainia robberfly eats a tiny ant royal

#12: Tiny Cerotainia robberfly Nr 2 eats a microscopic snack of thrips nuggets
