Argote - I use your web app all the time. Can I make a request for a minor upgrade?

As I find I use the exact settings over and over, I have to make the same option settings each time I visit the page. Would it be possible for the page to remember the settings used? Perhaps with a cookie of some kind?

Hi all,
this seems to be broken for now at least for me. I've set up a version here temporarily: https://gregja.ckson.id.au/argote/

It's a beta so it's got to be tested.

The original looks to be back, but I'll leave the spare copy on my site live so for now, either should work

This is a great app! too bad I didn't find this back when it came out. I feel like this might be a good idea for me write one for google photos as it's a real pain to post from there.

You are my hero Greg! Posting from Flickr without argote is a drag.

Richard - it is very easy to use. You visit one of the links in the posts a few above this post.   The 'official' Argote FLickr Poster https://flickr.argote.mx/ appears to be down at the moment (it does this occasionally....)

Luckily, our good colleague gregja has saved a copy of the code so you can also accesss the utility via
https://gregja.ckson.id.au/argote/

Once you are on the page, you need to work out your flickr name. When you are on your own flickr page, you can see the web address and you will see your flickr user name in there.

Type that into the box on the utility. Tick the info you want to extract and click "Find My Photo". A few seconds later, you will get a slightly randomised list of your latest photos along with the correct readymade BBCode to copy and paste into your dyxum post.

Have a fiddle and try a few sample postings in this thread. It should be fine and if it goes horribly wrong, I can always help tidy it up if you make a few attempts

Richard, the page opens with photo size set to 640 wide default, you can increase to 1024 without much complaints from the Dyxum community.
