Very nice. You should perhaps also include an "original size" option for those who upload shots that are resized to 800 or 900 pixels wide specifically to post here.

This is excellent, Luis, and is especially welcome now that Flickr are rolling out a new design which makes it harder to grab the URL. Your app gave me options of 240, 500, 640 and 1024. My photo was 800px on the largest size, choosing 1024 gave me the original size. So I assume 1024 actually means "up to 1024". Firefox 3.6.6 and Vista 32 bit.
Lancaster Red My dad, behind a pint of Lancaster Red in Brigantes, York. The pub is the birthplace of Joseph Hansom of Hansom Cab fame, though it wasn't a pub in his day. The beer is very fruity and rather sweet, an unusual brew but I enjoyed it. Nice work Louis! I found the same thing as AlanFromBangor with firefox 3.6.6 and XP Media Centre SP3.
I upload resized pictures (800px longest edge) to flickr but the 1024 option on your webtool gave the full 800px anyway. I've got the hang of it but if you had time to include an option for 'original size' it might make it a little bit more obvious. Thanks for making the utility! |

Thanks very much, I've been after something like this for a while . Is there anyway you could make it possible to scroll through the sets/collections or just further images?

One suggestion for future versions:
Be able to set a url for a specific Set, so as to easier retrieve older photos. But, cool tool anyway, and thanks for sharing! |

Wow! Super simple, Thanks so much for this! Hopefully it will spur a lot more sharing on dyxum.
It was a beautiful sunny day but really windy. We sat Allison and her lovely smile in a patch of waving wildflowers and caught one of my favorite shots of the day. Thanks! As for the "bug", if you're talking about the image unavailable thing when you replace the image, I think that is not a bug but expected behavior, it is to prevent someone else from linking to your image and you suddenly changing it to something that could be less tasteful or appropriate. |
