Down near the 'dome', we have our own Gormley, but not as iconic as yours...

These strange figures have also appeared in the Woolwich Arsenal, and I've wondered if they are his as well - they look like molds for some of his standing figures, but I could not see any plaque nearby saying what they were called or who they are by...

Bob

ps. Out today walking by the river when I came upon this notice, attached to the wall of a low building...

...no sculptures in sight, I was left wondering if the signwriter was supposed to put 'structure' and just got it wrong...

Here are some pics of two girls enjoying themselves in a nice little museum of contemporary art, taken a while back (Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Siegen, Germany - highly recommended if you pass by).

What's in there?

Unfortunately, London is losing its 'Gormley' figures - I know the ones from Waterloo Bridge has been taken away - here are some pics of some of the others...

There are lots of very nice photos in this thread. I like "What's in there?" and "Coloured Light" by Maurus so much. And Bob's "Gormley' figures" serie affected me a lot as well. Especially the first and the fourth photo are really impressive.

I explain "my area" rather widely as "my town" and I've been photographig as they call it "art in the public space" since I have my Dynax7d, so here is one more: a bronze raven sitting on a cup:

and the name plate says "I don't know the name":
