How about this? Cropped to 3:2 and I also tidied up the verticals. Also the white balance looked a bit off.

Watched this bloke walk out on the rocks, turn his back, raise a phone for a selfie and finding himself near thigh deep in water from a wave. Snapped a quick shot as he hauled arse out of the spot....30 seconds later a massive wave rolled across that would of had him neck deep!

Never turn your back to the ocean!

Caven Point - one of the last natural sand beaches on the Upper New York Bay.
It is closed due to birds from March to September. But it's October so ...
