Seabird Coast; Miranda

This area is on the bird migration route and attracts dozens of motorhomes and caravans almost every weekend (free parking for 3 days at a time).
Birds from northern Europe and Russia as well as from north America, fly here each year.
The area is in a large estuary with shallow muddy shores, perfect for wading birds of all kinds.

Sony QX-1 (look it up).
Sony E 10-18mm F4 OSS lens @ 18.0 mm
1/250th @ f/14.0
100 iso
Flash (auto, did not fire)
Cropped to panorama

Love this little digital body. It works well with a small tripod or on a tripod mount on the handlebars of my bicycle or motorbike. I can use the Sony wristwatch screen or my phone to view images or videos as I shoot them. Phone is better as it's easier to zoom looking at a big screen.
I have a Metabones Sony A-mount to Sony E-mount Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x so can use all my Minolta AF and MF lenses with it. With the light multiplied, that like having my 58mm f1.2 set at f0.9.

The required width/height restrictions on Dyxum make panorama shots hard to view. For better image quality, click the green "Alone Together" link. It will take you to the shot on Flickr where you get a much better impression that the tiny view here can't convey.

@jozef13 - absolutely idyllic. A true picture postcard view. Something to fantasise about from lock-down....

Nice! I like the triangle formed by your wife and the two boats in the distance.

Great shot.
