Great work Jet!
There is a difference between a shaky or out-of-focus photograph and a snapshot of clouds and fog banks. - Schrödinger

From the "almost no light on the stage" department:

Minolta 35/1.4G + a99

Minolta 85/1.4G + a99

Minolta 35/1.4G + a99

Seriously, the venue is a nice place but a $15 spotlight would help by an order of magnitude!

fantastic! I know that concert would be fun for you. for some time at least. #2 is my favourite, very intense with the warpaint and the red light.

happy to see some more from you :)

I just stumbled onto this thread and all I can say is WOW.

So many great photos - snap you certainly have a great eye !!

Wandering Skunk- you posted my favorites the YMSB one nearly made me cry as I love them and it broke my heart when they announced Jeff is leaving. I will be seeing them in a week and a half with Allie Krall (temporary sub and beatiful fiddle player formerly of Cornmeal) also loved seeing Wookiefoot and Nahko and Medicine for the people , as a matter of fact I was listening to "risk it" by Nahko and MFTP on my drive to work this am.

I have a ton of concert photos but seeing as my Slt is relatively new none are with it (mostly my old olympus 4/3 format). I am on vacation next week and going to a music festival with my SLtA55 and all my lenses so hopefully I will have plenty to post after that.

I final word of caution to all you audio lovers as well. As I saw many pictures with kids in them. Please make sure your kids have proper ear/hearing protection. Kids auditroy process are still forming till around age 10-11 and as such they are easily damaged by loud noise/music. As somebody with a little high frequency noise loss from loud music I want to keep all others hearing their best.

And to clean the pallete between courses an orange is often recommended, so here's Mandolin Orange who kicked off the inaugural FestivAlt concert.
Same combo as above

Many thanks for this link and today's intro to this fab duo. I found another country group and I'm in love again Just have to find my blue eyes gal who's not in the habit of giving a pair of Spanish Leathers
¿Location? Beats me... I'm lost on a far.far.away.tropical island.
