saw one of my favorite bands again last night, and once again managed to get by concert security with a Sony e-mount camera, this time the a6000 (all with the kit lens PZ1650 OSS)

A great week for music in Arles. Here's Calexico playing the Theatre Antique as part of Les Suds a Arles festival.

Here's a few recent shots with the a99 + CZ24/2. This combo works so well, the shots pretty much take themselves.

Ooo... that 135 is nice!

Tip: try de-saturating just a tiny bit, it can remove blown out highlights from super intense LED lighting. In Lightroom, lowering "vibrancy" or using the "Neutral" camera profile often works as well.

The Ultimate Eagles tribute band, excellent musicians and a good evening entertainment, plus very low lighting so quite a challenge especially as I was only allowed to shoot from halfway back in the theatre.
