Some images from a benifit concert for the homeless in the town where I live.
I, and three others from the photo club, had volunteered as photographers.

Kevyan Nikzad, who played iranian pop music from before the islamic revolution in Iran.

Member of "Gaskapellet", who were playing Gasolin' songs(danish rock band from the 1970's)

The last three are ZZ Top Jam, who really made the crowd rock :-)

I came here for the photos and ended up adding a new band to my Spotify playlist - merci G.P.! Oh, and the photos are quite nice, too!

My son in law's band 'Black Cab' put out an album called Altamont Diary that won wide acclaim when it was released in 2004. Themed on the notorious 1969 Altamont concert where the Rolling Stones were the headline act, the LA Hell's Angels were the security, and a concert-goer was killed by them at the foot of the stage while the Stones were playing. Marked the end of the 'Summer of Love' that began with Woodstock.
To mark the 50th anniversary, they put together an all star band plus impressive visuals including footage from Altamont, and performed a concert called 'Altamont Redux' at 'Howler', one of Melbourne's best live music venues last Thursday night and asked me to photograph.
The legendary Sam Cutler who now lives in Queensland and was the MC of the original Altamont, as well as managing the Stones and the Grateful Dead back then, flew down to give some insights and introductory remarks.

Here are some of the hundreds of photos I got.
