Great stuff on this page.

And Neil, that last acer is just spectacular, there's a similar acer a little further down in our street but I'm still waiting for the combination of no wind and good light. We've had both but not together yet.

When it happens I hope to get both some digital shots of it, as well as for the film challenge with Porta 160
You can see the April Foolishness 2023 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

Thanks, Pieter - I think the 'lockdown' has been good for them this year! Perhaps it's the lack of general pollution in the air as well as favourable growing and weather conditions.

As for the combination of wind and light, we were exceptionally lucky seeing these this year; sometimes people want the bright sunlight to go and enjoy these but I've found increasingly it's the more overcast conditions that make these much more photogenic.

And if you are experiencing the weather we are at the moment, then you'll be luck to have any leaves left on it....

Good luck and best regards, Neil.

PS - if you are able to scan the Porta images in it will be fascinating to see the contrast between the two image sources - these are, classically, 'Velvia Trees'!
