@pdave - what a lovely shot, partly made by the colours but more so by those wonderful, sinuous, roots we can see covering the ground; I wonder if there isn't a shot in this image as well through a careful crop to make more out of these by taking the upper part of the image down to the lowest tree top??

Whatever, it's a great location (especially so at that time of year) and one well worth going back to as the seasons change I suspect.

Some autumn colours from the Southern Hemisphere to off-set all those fresh Spring images from the North.

3. Spectacular 'Wheel of Fire' tree in my local park, attracts lots of birds and insects when in Autumn flower. Native to Queensland and northern New South Wales rainforests but a popular planting in parks and gardens elsewhere.

It`s getting there, some nice subtle and not so subtle changes happening in the foliage.
