between 2 work projects I had a chance for a brief visit to familiar places - a few villages nestled between bucegi and piatra craiului mountains.
I had no time to even look at the raws until a month later, upon returning from western hungary.

#1 the cold light before dawn

#2

#3

#4 golden sunrise

#5 light mist rising from moeciu village

#6 lone young tree

#7 later the same day, a trek on a different ridge

#8 scara peak and the northern slopes of bucegi mountains

#9 the house at the edge of the forest

#10 the house near the top of the ridge

#11 the almost hidden road

#12 a mix of trees

#13 the lonely cow

#14 approaching sunset

***************************************************************************
a few more shots from the second day of my trip - another clear day without a single cloud to see at all:

#15 morning

#16 postavarul peak

#17 moieciu village

#18 light effects

#19 piatra craiului mountains, afternoon

#20 barn

#21

#22 hidden house

#23 fences

#24 grazing

#25 typical autumn scene

#26 yellow

#27 bucegi mountains

#28 same scene, 2 frames panorama

#3 and #5 are almost identical but I prefer #5, my favorite in this beautiful series, for the location of the structures in terms of composition. The foreground colors vs. the distant mist - beautiful contrast that adds depth.
Hatred corrodes the container it is carried in. http://rogerrex.zenfolio.com/

What an excellent collection, one of the best I've seen, The colors, very vibrant, to nice and soft, and dreamy.

Excellent series! Somehow, I am more attracted to the ones with the softer tones, but they are all beautiful. TFS
