I am participating in the Oxford Photographers group exhibition during Oxfordshire's Artweeks festival. We are exhibiting - as usual - in the Mathematical Institute, and I thought I'd try presenting my photos here at Dyxum. Only one or two here might make it to Oxford in May so this will I think reach a different audience. You may have seen some of these before - I posted some Open Views a few months ago - but the third poster here will be completely new.

The venue has a constraint in that we have to use A0-sized posters (84 x 119 cm) in frames that are provided. I compile groups of six or more photos for each frame or poster. My own contribution is three posters on the theme Away from Home:

We travel far and near for holidays and breaks, and perhaps the only constant is that of being away from Home.

In these photographs from Vienna, Venice and elsewhere I explore ideas of home and the visitor and the visited.

A great combination of images, Howard - I like the Vienna-Venice-mix! Good luck for the competition!
