I would like to start this theme, couldn't find another anywhere...
I love silhouettes and have taken quite a few over the past week as I am building up stock for a club comp later in the year... backlit is more of a challenge for me but I'll give that a go too |

Morning sheep. (Ok, I cheated slightly - it's a 'colourised' shot!)

Here's one from this morning.
a700 w/100-400APO and this one would be backlit too, you can see the catch light on the backside of it's eyes. Same combo with just a slight crop at 400mm. Ahhh, that's the spot! Edited by stiuskr - 08 March 2009 at 21:48 |

Nice ones andersonivo and Stoney ! I love the colors and composition in yours Ivo and indeed for a 1/8th handheld it is amazingly sharp.
Stoney, excellent composition with the backlit outline of her hair against the higher dark building in the background. Well spotted. I would only clone or crop out the slight distraction at the waterline at the left, but for the rest it's perfect |
