Thank you.
From going through the photos it seems it mostly affected distant shots and shots with lower shutter speed, anything over 1/1000's of a sec turned out "alright"
Nice peacock shots, never managed to get one of a displaying bird.

3 shots from an early morning walk today.
Pacific black ducklings

The guy gave up on his 1dx and 600 f4 in favor of his cellphone, because the bird was just too cooperative :)

@angora: I'd say that's a great cormorant, Phalacrocorax carbo, in breeding plumage.
Nice action shots there.

TYSM, Johan! appreciate!! :-D
a quick search on the WWW, prior to posting this, learnt that the latin name for c. is indeed Phalacrocorax carbo, but no sub-species were mentioned (on that dutch site). breeding plumage??

Last here downunder it's Great Cormorant, not sure if it's got a different common name over in Europe. And breeding plumage for this one would be the white streaks along the neck, white flank patch and the white chin feathers. Out of breeding season it's near all black.

Two from today, same bird in the form of a female Satin Bowerbird.
The pose

"Why is he cursing the perch? Seem perfectly good to me!"

Both A77 and Sigma 150-500 @ 500mm, F/8, 1/50sec for first 1/40sec for second, ISO400 and handheld.
