Florida Birds 1
We just returned from Florida and I am going to post a series of photos from the trip. The birds range from beautiful to downright ugly. I'm going to post the ugly birds first to get those out of the way. Most of the pictures were taken taken with the A9 and FE 100-400 zoom +/- the 1.4X telextender. This is a fantastic (and fantastically expensive) combination for nature photography. Roseate Spoonbills - actually beautiful in flight but not so wonderful close up. ![]() ![]() White Ibis ![]() Immature Wood Stork - they get even uglier as they mature ![]() Anhinga in Flight - not great pictures of a not so pretty bird but the aerodynamics are interesting ![]() ![]() |
