Shot at 4.4 (according to the metadata the minolta 4.5 is more likely a 4.4 max aperture :))

Yes, great duck / photo!

Here's a blackbird.

Heavy crop since I was trying something with an 100mm prime. I'm just glad I was able to manually focus fast enough

We see Cooper's Hawks in our neighborhood frequently, but not often in our backyard. It had apparently missed some prey in our yard and flew up to the fence to take stock of its situation.

I did not realize the American Bittern had a snack (frog) in his mouth when I took the picture.
