Peter,
That first Eastern Rosella is the spitting image of the famous Rosella foods logo from 1895. When I went to Melbourne High, the Rosella factory was just across the Yarra River and when there was a north wind blowing, the smells from the production at the cannery were almost overpowering.
Great shots, and you're so lucky to have such colourful visitors coming to your garden and immediate surrounds during lock-down.

I moved to the USA five years ago. Before that, I lived in Poland all my life in various cities. Well, in Poland there are almost the same birds as in the Netherlands :)
Besides, I bought an application for the phone: Picture bird. You take a photo on your computer screen and the application itself recognizes the bird species.

Thanks Joe. Yes I remember the Rosella factory well, in fact I did some work for them in the 1960's. The above shots were taken last week and the buds visible are my cherry trees which are now in full blossom so hopefully some shots to come if my feathered friends will oblige.....

Oh, that is cool. I found the What bird is this website but still I did not find these birds. If the app does that, it is much, much easier!
