Thanks. For some reason I don't like making selective adjustments to my wildlife photos, aside from maybe a little extra sharpening or noise reduction. For this shot I just felt it was really needed.

Domien:
Florida is the northern limit for Limpkins though they may be expanding into Georgia. They live mainly on Caribbean islands, Central and South America. They are strong swimmers and flyers but prefer to walk. Books say they are shy but I have found one can generally approach fairly close. Limpkins feed almost exclusively on shellfish, especially Apple snails. You rarely see one far from the edge of the lake or river. |

Looks like a male Chaffinch to me. Not particularly bright in colour, but that could be the age of the bird or just the conditions. |
