Bald Eagles. Not a great picture but this is the same couple that I watched last year after "migrating" for six months. They should mate and lay eggs next month. I am monitoring the nest for Audubon as an Eagle Watch volunteer.
Terrible Purple Fringing mostly removed in PaintShop Pro between heads and chests. Still some in the background. Taken at dusk. ![]() A77, Minolta 600mm plus 1.4 TC, 1/25, F5.6, 840mm Equivalent. Another Green Bee-eater from today. Photographically speaking, previous ones were better (this time it was mid-day with harsh light and not appealing background), but I like this set for the titles I can give the photos

Look at the photo below ![]() There is no stinger on the wasp, only a small hole. That is because the bird hit the wasp against a branch, causing the stinger to break off (more pleasant for the throat) Edited by Dopol - 14 November 2020 at 21:59 |

Very nice. I think I might have tried to clone out those tree branches in the bottom of the frame. Tfs.

Tough choice, but I'll go for the first one too.
Without the tree, I would crop the top just under the birds in the right upper corner ![]() |

Nice shot Fred. The Cormorant looks very peaceful.
