2 Day old Glossy Ibis getting fed.
![]() A77, 70-400 G, 1/800, F5.6, 400mm. These two Tricolored Herons will be flying soon. They are inseparable right now. Never five feet apart. ![]() 1/500, 70mm |

A good set as usual. I like the singing lark and the avoct in particular. The latter is just a black and white species here (as far as I know) |

I love these siblings! The feeding ibis is a nice captured moment. |

There is a difference between a shaky or out-of-focus photograph and a snapshot of clouds and fog banks. - Schrödinger

Charles, you're chugging out so many good pics that I'm getting tired of saying well done.
![]() Why the square crops? I'm a free-cropper, by the way. While I do see the point of standards such as 3:2, 16:9, 1:1 etc. I crop pretty much as I see fit. Since I'm a completely digital tog who almost never prints anything, it gives me total freedom to choose whatever aspect ratio that I feel is appropriate. |

I (still) like the Tricolored Herons
It would be a good thing if you could catch them in their first flying attempts. Good luck with that. |

Very kind of you Sashi. I have moved to square crops because my extended family encouraged me to post on Instagram where they follow me. |

Domien, I will try to catch the Tricoloreds first flight. It will not be long before they fly. I saw the mother coaxing them but they have not go the nerve yet. They use their wings to propel themselves through the branches. Still buddies today.
