On Tuesday evening just before sunset, I went out birding. I could not stay long because the "Manitoba airforce" also called the "Provincial birds" but more commonly known as mosquitos were being particularly vicious. Here are a few that I liked.
Savannah sparrow   My second success at seeing a Sora. (I could not stay any longer to get a better shot)

Eastern Spinebill, very small as you can see by the hairs on the branch and flower.  2  3 Galahs.

More treats from your garden sanctuary. Wonderful back-lit sulphur crested in perfect light. Beautiful spine bill. I would have liked it more if the aperture was opened up to de-focus the foliage more. Love those galahs in their mirrored poses. Thanks Joe, much as I don't like to see the cockatoos around due to their potential destructive nature they certainly can be appealing in the right light and with the way they always display their crests on landing. As to getting up it was dry so no real problem except I have a hip flexor tear which can be painful if I'm not careful.....
