Heerman's gull. San Diego.

The last one is a cattle egret. Funny birds.
Nice capture

And Heerman’s gull is a nice catch too.

Gave my new a1 and Sony 100-400mm a try out today, to familiarise myself with the settings and abilities.

Only the local Pūkeko population at the local park was out, so they became my new feathery subjects.

A pair of juveniles was chasing an adult, who was trying to ditch them. And would turn on them to scold them away. They were not deterred...
