Just across the street

A7Rii + Tamron 150-500 Di III VC VXD, manual focus stack of two frames, one for the birds, one for the moon. No further photoshop trickery, the moon was exactly this size and this place in the frame

Fishing cormorants in TongLi (a watertown near Shanghai)

A700 + Sony DT 18-250

These are captive birds that are kept by a fisherman and trained to dive and catch fish for him. They can't swallow the fish due to a metal ring aound their neck when they're sent off to dive.

Magnificent Kingfisher photo Domien.
Rich colour and detail, razor sharp focus on the subject set against a clean OOF background. Doesn't get much better than this.

Thank you
The first one was denoised with Lr Enhance (was ISO5000)
The second one was denoised with Topaz Photo AI (was ISO5000)
The Lr Enhance noise reduction is smoother,
the Topaz noise reduction is sharper, and contains more detail, but remains a little noisy.
That's probably because denoising/sharpening is concentrated on subject
