This owl is amazing! They say they winter in Liberty State Park, but I have never seen them.

Thanks, Peter
Never underestimate the effect of a well-shot black Cockatoo Here I have a Red Kite, that I shot against a pure white sky (heavy overcast and a bit of rain). I had to replace the white sky with a grey one Red Kite A1 100400GM @ i1250 400mm F/5.6 1/2000sec |

And very effectively done too Domien. I'm generally too lazy or too busy to spend much time with my edits although my now go to software ON1RAW will do a sky replacement quite easily. Maybe I'll experiment with the above.... |

Wow, impressive shot.
Indeed the grey cloudy sky gives it something sinister. |

Domien, amazing shots, must have been another excersise in patience.
That red kite is quite rare around here. I spotted one this spring but it just flew by, and gone. Did this one have a territory? |

Thanks, Peter Hans Dirk.
The Red Kite is very common in the Eiffel area in Germany (just across the border of Limburg). You see there as many as you see Buzzards here. |
