Thanks Mariusz and Peter. Re #3 and #4 you never know what you've got until you see it on a big screen, a lesson to never delete in camera in the field!!!

A small fraction of the 475,000 Sandhill Cranes that were coming to roost on the Platte River in Nebraska this past weekend. By the time the migration is over, there will be close to a million birds passing through. It is a sight and sound to be treasured.
