With a broken heart, and tears in my eyes, it is my duty to let you know that Cameron Hill brettania, has passed away this weekend.

I'm very emotional when it comes to Cam; I "knew him" for more than 10 years and while we never met in person, he was a friend-father figure to me and he should be considered as the person who has put this community together.

With his wisdom, friendship and sense for others, Cam is the most responsible for the spirit we have in here; his words were the ultimate guide for the whole AMAE team and something that will live with each of us.

My English language skills aren't good enough to express my gratitude to the man that shared all his qualities but I'm sure that other members feel the same.

I will miss you Cam, but I know you just made the other side a more beautiful place.

Sincere condolences to Cam's family.

Cameron Hill - brettania with his daughters Alexandra and Penelope.

We invite you to share your in-memory images for Cam in

My heartfelt condolences for all his family and friends.
We'll miss him but his memory will live on in how he shaped the spirit of Dyxum.

I feel a strange mix of grief and gratitude for having known him. Cam was essential to the spirit of Dyxum, and I think he recruited all of the current team (with the exception of Mladen) - I will miss him immensely, but hope to always feel his influence.

Sleep well sir..

I recently realized I hadn't seen him around here, I checked and he logged in that same day. It felt good to see him still being around here.

Also from me, my condolences to his family and loved ones. He was a warm person and he will be missed.

Ahoy!

Always a very sad time when you learn of a close friend, relative or a good buddy having gone to the green fields beyond. May he rest in peace, though he will always be in the hearts and minds of those who were closest to him. Would it be an idea for an 'In Memoriam' thread to be opened? Just an idea.

Life is so precious

I've had a feeling something was amiss as I saw him grow quiet in his posts in recent years. His contributions will echo here for a long time to come.

Sad, sad news indeed. My condolances to his family and friends. He put part of his soul into this great community and we will, of course, carry on in his memory.
