Looks kind of an old, non rain-covered cruiser...

It's covered Lars . I even could have added an extra 'C'. If I would have stopped down a bit more, you would have seen some bikes at the front. It was a 'Cycling cruise'.

C is for the Circus!

Mr Fips and Tweedy at Gifford's Circus, Oxford

Courtesy of Olympus UK we had an afternoon of photography with Gifford's Circus, which is currently camped in University Parks, Oxford.

Their show this year is called Xanadu and riffs on themes from the Summer of Love - with music, costumes, and storylines from the late 60s/early 70s.

I was bowled over by the energy and professionalism with the clowns, acrobats, musicians, dancers and everyone else putting together a slick and funny show firmly routed in the circus tradition.

The climax was a stupendous slapstick routine with these two clowns.

Olympus loaned us equipment to try out, but insisted we bring along our own gear as well. I was fortunate to try out an OM-D EM1-X with a 12-100 lens, but this was taken with my A7 III, LA-EA3, and Tamron SP 70-300mm USD: 1/160s f5.6 ISO 3200 @70mm. My thanks to Olympus for making the event possible; I only wish Sony did stuff like this in the UK (perhaps they do - anyone know?).
