In case this animal in image #3 would have been still living and crawling around I would have probably booked immediately my flight home! (I am sorry, but I usually cannot comment on pics with insects in them - this is a rare exception).

It's certainly a diverse set!

TFS!

impressive views all around. The trees, the rocks, the sky.
I'm afraid my wife would have made me kill the poor spider in #3 (or we would have to go home)
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken

Thanks! And there will be more photos;)
At the beginning I will show two photos from the Big Stump Trail. At the end of the 19th century, woodcutters cut down great sequaias.
#27

#28 This photo was taken on the stump of Mark Twain's tree. Part of this tree can be seen at the Natural History Museum in New York City.

The next photos are from the Topekah falls trail.
#29 Wuksachi Lodge

#30 The trail runs along the river

#31 A lot of rocks

#32 Sunbathing under the waterfall, which is almost dry at this time of year.

#33 More rocks

#34 And finally, a view of the Moro Rock from the access road to the park.
