I can write an article, how to fix off shoe cable for iIso hot shoe not working with certain flashes, or having problems with missfires. It applies to this type of cable: http://www.ebay.com/itm/3m-Flash-TTL-Off-Camera-2-Hot-Shoe-Sync-Cord-Cable-for-Sony-BRAND-NEW-/110912857702?pt=Camera_Flash_Accessories&hash=item19d2ebe666

Also sold as Godox, GoodBuy or other names. The fix is very simple, requires no soldering skills or electronics knowledge. All you need is a small screwdriver, pliers and small piece of wire.

I don't know if there is any interest, but I could write up a guide to good camera shops in Tokyo, since this is more or less the "heaven on earth" of that category. It might be interesting if others wrote up similar guides to other major cities around the world...

Alex and Jim -- both topics sound fine. How about writing them up and sending to me as a PM, with appropriate code including.

If wanted, I could write an article about my (half) underwatergear and how it's developped. Plain and simple.
I like down to earth photography. :)

I recently calibrated my monitor. It helped a great deal and it also made me wonder why many photograpers don't do this. If there is a demand for such a simple article, i'm willing to write some text with some additional photo's (think about 3,4 and 2 before/after shots).

There is a need, given some of the comments about over-saturation in the photographic forums. Send it to me as a PM.

Hi everyone,
As some of you noticed, lately I received the title of "Knowledge Base Coordinator".
I put up a new Knowledge Base Index and now I would like to bring back this call for articles for the Knowledge Base forum.

Please contact me, or reply here, with ideas and suggestions - whether you have a question you think many have, or you would like to know how to..., or you read a knowledgeable comment in the forum that you think should be an article here, or maybe if you have a unique lens and want to write an in-depth review about it.
I will discuss your suggestions with the AMAE team and if accepted, we will publish the article (or find someone to write it).

Thanks!
