"by far"

The A7ii is ~5 mm less wide and ~15 mm higher (pseudo mirror bulge, so not overall) and ~10 mm less deep

Weight of the A7ii is 80 grams more (probably the IBIS mechanism)

I'd call that nearly equal, but YMMV
Mind the bandwidth of others, don't link pictures larger then 1024 wide or 960 pix high, see here

The original A7 is still listed on Sony.com as a current product with a body only price of $799.99. 1/8000 s shutter, 5 FPS vs 4 FPS, better sensor: seems higher end than the RP.

The most problem IMO is JPEG engine. A7 is still great for RAW, if not to ask super high ISO.

The RP (and 6DII) look to be decent JPEG cameras.

I was just looking at photonstopohotos. The RP raw catches up to the A7 at ISO 640, it catches up to the A7II at ISO 1280, and it passes the A7II at ISO 6400 and above.
