Capture One 22

For those of you who also use Capture One to process your raw files, it's possible to pre-order Capture One 22 for a 20% discount at the moment. This offer expires 9 November.

Version 22 includes an HDR and Panoramic stitching function. There may be other goodies, but these have not been revealed yet. I'd avoided Version 21 and was using 20 up until now. But these two new functions alone appealed to me.

I also applied a 10% coupon code I knew of, and that reduced the price further.

It all added up to quite a significant savings.

I jumped aboard Capture One with C1 20 when my a7Riii forced me to abandon LR5.7. I did really like it. C1 21 wasn't a compelling upgrade, so I've skipped that. But C1 22 looks good. Especially after what added up to a 30% discount.

The Panorama function looks really useful for me. And there's typically some improvements to the layer and masking tools in each upgrade.

I have a subscription and get the new versions automatically.
The last update at version 21.4 added a magic brush.
I do a lot of color IR pictures and the magic brush is a superb tool to develop the IR files.
I do withe balance , and than just create a mask by picing the color of the sky and than the same for the foreground …
Than I change per mask the withe balance sliders or the level Kurve to set the new colors for the different masks
Super easy to develop IR pictures
I am looking forward to version 22 to get raw stitching capability.

Me too beside new features, would be nice if it would come already with the capability to develop Sony A 7IV Raw

I ordered the A7VI and it should arrive mid December, that could just match with the release of version 22
But normally if I get a new camera there is a 2 week bad wether period 🙄 will see if that is again the case
