On our Summer holiday on Lago di Garda (we left one week before the horrendous thunderstorms with golf-ball size hail stones and tent crushing storm winds began) we visited a few old cities and were not disappointed. Particularly the church interiors were quite impressive. A great contrast to the sober Dutch Protestant churches.

Cattedrale di San Pietro in Mantua. A lovely city, many fantastic buildings (some under renovation). Too far away from Garda for mass tourism, so nice and quiet.

Tripods not allowed, inside images with high ISO but no problem with modern sensors.

Looking forward to that! I love these series from you Paul. We can't pass a church during holidays without a look inside, so thanks for taking us with you. Al well captured, especially the depth in #3 and the light in #4
