Usually our Christmas Card is a print of a photo (about 3.5 by 4.5 inches) pasted on a folded blank card with our good wishes and other message written or printed inside. This year we could not decide which of the four selected photos was best and therefore we used all four, one on each quarter of the Christmas cards chosen at random. The four photos, all of scenes in the Ober Engadin (a favorite region for us in the South-East of Switzerland) are shown here:

So: Happy New Year to you all with these four cards!

Show us your Holiday and Christmas photos!

Some from my little town:

The shops downtown every year put on a contest called "Window Wonderland," in which each shop competes for best window display. I've got a smattering from last night, and I may add some if I get out to shoot some more. Feel free to show what your city or home has, in the way of holiday decorations!

These three are from the windows at House of Rand Antiques, Wooster, OH, USA

Miniature merry-go-round in another storefront, also part of the "Window Wonderland" competition.

One shot so far processed from the year's winning display:

And, more, this time from a different antiques store.

This is a copy of the thread in Open Views section. Better fits in here I think:

Had a short trip to Munich and very short time for some shots on the christmas market there. Some quite nice handcraft artwork and lots of hot spiced wine.

If you have some too, you are invited to add them here!

Hope you like 'em!

Woaw....

There's nothing to put me in the Christmas spirit yet (no snow, no decorations around...), but those shots do waken some of it
See my webpage!

So, Walt, are you the king of obscure smilies, or what?

@rowivision - I really like 11 & 12. My mom has one of those angels. Looks like there is some holiday bounty in Munich.

If I didn't know better, your cat is posing for you. Nice shots.

Nice shots Matt, and Perry, here's my Christmas tree with if I remember correctly 1500 plus lights. It is a favorite hideout for one of my cats that likes heat. It actually warms up that room quite well.
Taken with the 18-70 Kit, slightly Ortonized.

18mm, F/4, 1/3, Maxxum 7D.
