it isn't really Christmas until you've heard this song
so, Merry Christmas!

with Kirsty MacColl on vocals
(with the original lyrics)

released the winter of the year I first picked up a camera, 33 years ago
I can still remember how that music used to make me smile

Wishing you all a happy, healthy and safe Festive Season. Let us all hope that 2021 brings with it a time of hope and better fortunes for us all.

With very best wishes - take care and enjoy whatever family time you may have around you in the next few days. Neil.

My now traditional annual Christmas tree decoration process photo reportage:

1. Still wrapped up

2, Wrapper removed (and some newspapers to catch possible water drops and needles etc.)

3. Let there be light!

4. Decorated

5. The final form in mood lighting

And for comparison, my aunt had much smaller tree or actually three separate small trees:

All photos shot with α7R IV + Sony FE 1.4/24 G, EXIFs should be intact.

Happy Holidays!

This morning, as seen through my daughter's front window. SE Michigan went to bed last night with no snow on the ground. We awoke this morning to a beautiful white blanket of fresh snow. As my daughter's family began their Christmas morning festivities my son-in-law decided to open the blinds so the kids could see the snow.

"When what to my wondering eyes should appear?"

"REINDEER!" My grandchildren shouted with glee!

Not quite, but nonetheless very magical on a snowy Christmas Morning

Merry Christmas to All!

Photo credit to my daughter and her smart phone. Pretty sure it's not an A-mount smart phone, but I thought it appropriate.
