Is the church out of place there or right where it is supposed to be?
Interesting juxtaposition, then again many things are today
Well framed, to make the question

Last week we went to Suwałki - town in NE Poland to visit our friends. I had a very ambitious plan regarding photography. Well, weather has brutally corrected my plans. But I haven't gave up. I drove to Wigry the small village widely known from beautiful lake having the same name and surrounding this village. There is also old Camaldonese Monastery complex located on peninsula encroaching into the lake. No Camaldonese Monks are there anymore but now Monastery is under Catholic Church administration so Church is still open and Monks' Cells are adopted to Hotel rooms.
Beautiful place with a lot of history, beautifully located and full of tourists in the summer.
More here: https://www-wigry-org-pl.translate.goog/kwartalnik/nr9_klasz.htm?_x_tr_sl=pl&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc
So I have taken a whole bunch of pics facing showers every few minutes. But I am happy with what I got because there weren't too many people due to the weather.
All taken with A7M2 and Sony/Zeiss 16-35mm, f4 lens.

That's one of the things I like here on Dyxum: seeing lovely places all over the world, you've never heard of, beautifully captured by our fellow members!
#2, 7, 10 and 13 are the standoutsfor me in this interesting series.
Well done Jack! TFS

Superb set - I think the weather has even helped you: The dramatic sky in #10 makes it my absolute favorite. The central compositions stand out, IMO!

TFS!
